Getting Here

I live in Heavitree, about a mile east of Exeter city centre. Number 205 is the last house in Hamlin Lane at the end of a row of terraced houses.

By car, bicycle or on foot

From the bus station in Exeter city centre, follow the signs for “Honiton (A30)” for approximately 1 mile. When you reach the traffic lights at the Light of India restaurant, turn left into North Street and follow the road as it turns right into South Lawn Terrace. After 200 yards you will reach a mini roundabout. Number 205 Hamlin Lane is the house with the blue door directly ahead of you.

Public transport

From the high street in the city centre, take the ‘A’ bus to Heavitree Health Centre. Alternatively, take an ‘R’ or ‘S’ bus from the city centre to the Somerfield bus stop in Heavitree. (You can download a map of Exeter’s bus routes from the city council’s website.) There are occasional trains to Polsloe Bridge station at the other end of Hamlin Lane (about half a mile away).
